Resort 17

The new Resort 2017 collection by Albino Teodoro takes substantiality and accessibility as its starting point combined with the trademark style features of the brand.
Simple shapes combined with patterns inspired by the elements and geometry of Art Deco wallpaper stand out, as they always do in the designer's style features.
The silhouette is slim and layered. Volume is built up in a game of layers from body-hugging micros to oversize macro pieces.
The cut of outerwear and light, floaty dresses is linear and architectural with strongly graphic frames and outlines that highlight the simplification of shapes.
The attitude is relaxed, emphasised by the deconstruction of individual pieces which are still light and easy to wear, despite the distinctly sartorial attention to detail and demi-couture.
A hint of irony and eccentricity is added into the mix.
The idea is to create a perfect wardrobe, with a few key pieces and a complete assortment, with interesting variations in wearability and materials. A fresh new contemporary take on the great classics.

Key items:
- The trench coat and 5 pocket jacket where classic cotton meshes with the geometries of radzmir in giant stripes and the Art Deco wallpaper patterns of the jacquard.
- New lurex fleeces in bright metal colours;
- Sophisticated patterned biker jackets and 5 pocket quilted cotton jackets;
- Luxurious, colourful bonded silk duster coats;
- Simply designed, light, flowing colour block crêpe de Chine or cady dresses with metallic elements and large decorative bows in raw silk faille;
- Outerwear completed with geometric mini dresses, in the typical Albino style, boasting architectural volumes, created in luxurious fabrics like Art Deco wallpaper pattern jacquard inspired by 1940s Miami interiors and cotton silk radzmir.
- Masculine white poplin shirts interpreted in different volumes and dimensions with precious, elegant details.

A luxury approach to choosing materials sees rich, opulent jacquards put together with the cotton mackintosh sporting gilt detailing, thick cady, raw silk faille and crêpe de Chine mixed up in colour block stripes and layering.
The colour palette plays around with different surfaces in warm shades of tobacco, blush pinks and intense red, with the added texture of luminescent multi coloured lurex, while the jacquard combinations are a more classic black and white or navy blue.
